Call for volunteers
Our whole school production rehearsals and dance practices are well underway with lots of great enthusiasm from our students. It is time to start preparing all our costumes, props and sets and this is where we need lots of parent and community volunteers!
We need donations or particular prop items (can be returned if needed), we need to make and paint cardboard cut out props and make and source particular costume items. Please see the list below:
There will be a prop painting working bee afternoon on Thursday 18th August from 3pm if anyone would like to volunteer to come along and help paint outside the hall.
Need donations of:
-fake plants, flowers, vines and greenery
-fake butterflies, birds, mushrooms, fantasy props
-medium sized plain green christmas tree (x2)
-large pirate flag
-dress up costumes of pirates (except if your child is a girl in year 1and2 as you will need your own, but extras would be welcome)
-large princess costumes (size 10-14 girls)
-witches dress ups
Need to make/paint:
-large Gingerbread house
-Princess bed frame
- tower
-large gnarly tree
- witches cauldron
- rocks
-forest backdrop painted on fabric sheets
-flowers/vines/mushrooms etc.
-class set of swords
Costumes to make:
-group sets of Princess skirts
Princess hats, bonnets
-bow ties
-Hero capes and bandanas
- chamber maid outfits, aprons and bonnets over simple dresses
-cheerleading and sports team dance outfits
-pirate outfits
-dark forest creatures (shirts)
